I agree with #2 here.  Never smoked London Broil or Trip-tip (Tri tip is great for carne asada!).  Pork Belly is good smoked, but it's "different" and - for me - requires a bit more work.  I like to finish is on the grill over open flame to get a good char and break down the fat a bit more. 

I would recommend the tried and true pork butt/boston butt/pork shoulder.  Its an easy to smoke piece of meat and is hard to screw up.  I would also suggest a brisket.  This cut does take a bit longer... mine cooks for 12+ hours then rests for 3, but is very good.  

Hit up websites for Big Green Egg or Traeger, they tend to have some easy to cook and good recipes.

Jim appears to have given up khaki's...opting for blue pants all 4 games this season.  So, I guess one could say that there's a chance they go back to the road Maize pants again.  

He makes a great point about Izzo, Coach K, et al.  Why aren't they speaking out against this travesty affecting their sport?  And why aren't any reporters sticking microphones in their faces asking the tough questions? 

If UofM hits those 3 FG's, the final score of that game likely bumps up to either 30-7 or 37-7.  You gotta believe that being up by 2 scores forces UW to change their plans and attempt more passes.  At which point, we either get another INT and/or they have a few more 3 and outs.  this team could have ROLLED UW.  That's why all 3 phases need to be hitting on all cylinders.  Those missed kicks meant a whole hell of a lot than just 9 pts.  Here's to one of those guys getting their 'iron jock' on!
