congrats Brian, you deserve all the pub you get. You really do a great job with the site & we are all much more knowledgeable UofM fans because of your work. Congrats again!
He has some maturing to do, but we all did/do @ 19. I also, as expressed in my previous post don't think "giving him props" or making excuses for him are gonna help him in his maturation process.
The young man (19 is hardly a "kid" IMO) made a mistake in how he handled yesterday, but his story has yet to be finished. I wish him nothing but the best & hope he is thankful for the opportunities he's been afforded.
"The ABC crew yesterday made it seem like Tate was sitting on the bench sulking while everyone was celebrating."
He was.
"The question I have is this: was Tate sitting there of his own volition; or was he told to sit there by the coaching staff."
I guess anythings possible & without being privy to the (if there was one) conversation, one would never know. However that would be an extremely odd "punishment".
The one thing that has stood out the most (to me anyway) in these CTK videos is the talent we have at QB. All 3 seem to be legit options & capable of not only starting but doing some really good things.
I was also pleasantly surprised with the coverage on d. All the completed passes had a defender right on the receivers hip & forcing near perfect throws by the QB's. Heres hoping I wasnt just seeing what I wanted to & that is something that will carry over into the season.
Not sure who else it could be unless a walk on inherited the #. Also noticed a #44 on O, anyone know if Moundros is moonlighting back on O from time to time?
but judging from his HL & body structure, I'd say TE & or an H-back role would be his only conceivable options on O. He is a dual threat QB, but he's more in the Sousa mold than Denard, Devin or Corn Jones
Grady & Gallon both took some reps this fall with the RB's. Never know about injuries but as long as we don't have Iowa type luck there & Shaw took care of the school work, we should be fine.

makes him above reproach?

sorry
& he has still acted like a spoiled 2 year old, I'd say "props" are the last thing he actually needs.
Time for Tate to grow up & take some responsibility for his actions.
is that you?
someone neg'd you, but I appreciate the stats & confirmation on the game being a pre-season game.
