I'd bet he's back by the beginning of season. Obviously it depends on how quick an individual player heals, but the beginning of the season would give him 10 months of recovery time. That's definitely enough nowadays.
Luckily, actual football season doesn't begin for another six months. Methinks Harbaugh will light enough of a fire over the Spring to get them competing like crazy over the Summer.

Whoever says this team is devoid of talent is downright crazy. We are 2-3 starters deep at most positions, especially on defense.
Even if we don't have a good QB on the roster(which I'm sure Harbaugh will create one), this season should be a minimum of 9 wins.
