Below average on this graph

Below average on this graph is <50.

Onwenu and Ulizio's scores on the graph indicate that Onwenu is in the bottom ~15ish in all of FBS while Ulizio is in the bottom ~3ish in all of FBS (I didn't look up the exact number of teams, I think it's around 130 though, so 260 starters at Guard and Tackle each). That's a LOT worse than just below average.

Asking the important

Asking the important questions...

I'm actually the exact same height as you, and I have the same problem. I still get t-shirts from the traditional sites and they tend to workout ok as long as you go for the tri-blend or polyester variety.

I'd love to be able to buy a hoodie or jacket or something that has long enough sleeves haha.

Not only does PB vastly improve the flavor, it also helps hold everything in place so nicely.

First, I love it. I hope he becomes the official face of Charmin.

Second, perhaps more importantly:

"He is ranked by ESPN Insider Todd McShay as the fifth-best(!!!?) tight end in the NFL draft, which starts Thursday."

FIFTH-best? Really? Are there seriously four tight ends better than him in this year's draft?

I'll admit: that was pretty

I'll admit: that was pretty cool.

For context, I believe that Nascar is most boring sport in America...and I've watched golf and tennis.

I'm hope someday in the

I hope someday in the future the phrase "a U-M student-athlete in football  under Jim Harbaugh" will be used with equal weight as the Bo phase used here in biographies of potential coaches/ADs

I think this is a valid point

I think this is a valid point that isn't brought up enough. Harbaugh hasn't comitted any violations, minor or major, through these practices.

I know we want to be able to sit on our high horse and say we are better than these types of tactics, but perhaps the problem isn't Harbaugh but rather the system that allows a coach to pull a scholarship from a player for no reason and at the last minute.

By far my favorite

By far my favorite posts.

Although, the wait between "informative update forthcoming" and the actual update feels like an eternity...

I don't know how many WR a

I don't know how many WR a typical class has.

However, even though we don't lose any WR this offeason, we do lose our top 3 receiving options after NEXT season (Chesson, Darboh, Butt).

So, perhaps the idea is to get a bunch of guys on campus for this coming season so that at least a couple of them will be ready to make a significant impact the next season?

National Blonde Brownie Day?

How long until we have a National "National Day" Day?

Expected...maybe necessary to get everybody the coaches want. But I still always feel a little disappointed when someone decommits.

After reading the Hello post I go through the process of convincing myself that the player in question is going to be a superstar and bring us a national championship. Now I have to reverse that and convince myself that he wouldn't have panned out.

Ok, but can we at least agree

Ok, but can we at least agree that every single recruit that has ever gone to Ole Miss did so because he and/or his family and/or friends were paid off?

No, we don't. What's the

No, we don't. What's the worst case, though? Or rather, the worst case of the most likely scenarios?

It sounds like people are worried that we pulled this kid's scholarship a few weeks before signing day becuase we decided he wasn't good enough, that sounds like the worst accusation that's flying around.

Is that acceptable? Officially, yes. I don't think that breaks any NCAA rules, does it? It's dishonorable though, which makes it a bad look for the team and university.

What if we were still offering him a scholarship but informed him that he would not be on the football team? So he could still get his degree, but he would not be a member of Michigan football. That happened with Matt Falcon, right? Would that be okay in this case?

Freaking recruiting. If only

Freaking recruiting. If only I had the self-discipline to just ignore it all until the day after signing day each year...It would save me a ton of anxiety

I never got MLK day off until

I never got MLK day off until I started at UofM...when we'd spend MLK day at the auto show in Detroit every year. Good times.

So...are the invitees going

So...are the invitees going to be the current commits then? It's like a party for them to come and sign their LOIs?

I'm confused. Since it's on a Wednesday, and most of our commits are a plane ride away, I wouldn't think many of them would be able to attend.

Seems like kind of a boring

Seems like kind of a boring hire for such a big program. Then agan, maybe I'm just not tapped into the DC market enough to know if it's a good hire.

I'll be honest: I prefer the

I'll be honest: I prefer the idea of all nine players playing both offense and defense. In theory, at least.

In practice, however, it's really frustrating knowing that 1/9 of the lineup is basically a guaranteed out. So, it seems better for the game to have a DH.

I think it may be the right

I think it may be the right call. While this year was disappointing, I don't feel comfortable pinning that all on Caldwell.

We had a good finish to the year, so it makes sense to keep the staff together and go into next season with some momentum and continuity.

Now that you bring it up, how

Now that you bring it up, how about that MSU-Iowa game?

Kidding. Kidding.

....they did lose by a lot though

I agree, but I'm still

I agree, but I'm still waiting until we see O'Korn (and the other QBs) in the spring game to buy into the top 5/playoff contender hype. Jake Rudock was amazing this year and we really have no current data on his replacement.

I think we're easily in the discussion for B1G favorite, though.

That advice works for a lot

That advice works for a lot of things in relationships, I think. Both sides have to decide if they can live with their partner's eccentricities, you can't assume that they will change. So, you have to be upfront with your partner on what's important to you so they can make an informed decision.

I feel like I lucked out. My girlfriend loves to cuddle up and watch football, pro or college. She's an IU fan, but because she likes when I get excited about my team, she cheers for Michigan too (as long as they're not playing IU).

Does anybody know why exactly

Somehwat unrelated: Does anybody know why exactly search firms are contracted so often in coaching searches? It's not like they're digging up excellent candidates that no one has heard of previously. The teams end up hiring a coach from another major program almost every time.

I'm really hoping we can

I'm really hoping we can finish out this class with at least a few of Walker, Gary, Nauta, Hardman, and Bush. If we get all of them I'd be ecstatic.

However, I'm not going to believe any source until they sign. Recruiting is too crazy these days...

I was on the pessimistic

I was on the pessimistic side. I predicted 7-5, with losses to Utah, MSU, Minnesota, PSU, OSU.

Definitely happy to be proven wrong! If you told me before the season we'd have 9 wins I'd have been ecstatic. If you told me we'd have 10 I'd have been through the roof.

Honestly, I think from that

Honestly, I think from that list I'd give it to Matt Rhule. Harbaugh has exceeded expectations in his first year, that's for darn certain. But look at what Rhule has done in his three years at Temple:

2013: 2-10

2014: 6-6

2015: 8-2 (so far)

That improvement should be recognized, I think. Next year, if Michigan is a serious playoff contender, I'd give it to Harbaugh.

Agreed. I don't understand

Agreed. I don't understand the confusion. We're Michigan fans, therefore we want Michigan to succeed. The best possible outcome is for Michigan to win tomorrow AND for OSU to win because then we have a chance to win the B1G East next week.

If you go the other way, then you're choosing to cheer for our rivals to fail instead of cheering for Michigan to succeed.

Right? On the other hand, I

Would love to join you guys...but I'll be with my girlfriend, her family, and her brothers 20+ IU grad friends. If you see a really tall, skinny guy wearing a Denard jersey in a sea of crimson it's me. Please give me a GO BLUE! or something because I could probably use it lol.

Loved the article. I thought the comment at the bottom was the funniest part though:

The dude is a lot bigger in person. I'd say he's 5-11 1/2.

Oh, He's 5'11" AND A HALF?! Well, might as well pencil him into the first round, in that case.
