I just tried to go to the home page of the Blockhams, as I do every Tuesday, to catch the second strip from the previous week only to find that the filters at work now BLOCK it! The reason given is "sex"? WTH? LOL
I was in New Orleans for the Alabama/LSU game and I must state, without a doubt, that the Alabama fans were, by far, the better of the fans. LSU fans came across as arrogant, and rude to myself and the group I was with while we had an absolute blast with the Bama fans at both the hotel and at the game.
As to RollDamnTide, I find your posts informative and objective and that is always appreciated.
As has been mentioned already, today is a great day! For all of the reasons stated above, Ohio sanctions, Borges sticking around, the new MGOBLOG comic strip, and I received a telephone call to inform me that I WON and all expense paid trip to the BCS National Championship game for myself and 3 friends!!! Christmas has come early!
We had 3 younger fans, who drove in from Nebraska, in front of us today and they were class acts the whole game. If fans from other teams, yes I am looking at you Ohio and MSU, the games with them would not only be exciting but also enjoyable. If the fans are all like that at Nebraska then I will be going there next year.

This year the bye week could not have come at a more opportune time since Saturday is my wife's birthday! Saved from being forced to decide between watching Michigan play or spending the day with my wife. Now I get the best of both with out missing either.
Here is a comparison of the stadium noise. I attended the ND game with my wife, her first game, and sat in the South end zone. My ears and my wife's ears were ringing for most of Sunday after that game, it was awesome! This past Thursday we attended a Foo Fighters concert and as loud as it was my ears were NOT ringing the following day. Take that for what it is worth but to me it is a testament to the noise level at the ND game!
My son attended Ohio last year and had the "luck" to be in a biology class with TP. He stated to me that when he did show up he would drag along his tutor, his girlfriend, Posey and Posey's girlfriend. While class was going on his tutor would take notes while the other 4 sat around and BS'd. Sounds like his school work was a real distraction.
Long time lurker, first time poster. Love the site, the information is incredible and the back and forth banter is always entertaining.
