The Team from Up North…

The Team from Up North Remembers

I needed something to listen…

I needed something to listen to late one evening at work and stumbled onto this crazy podcast with in-depth football analysis, a Gimmicky Top 5 favorite cheeses segment (because Wisconsin), and Brian’s repeated references to high school quiz bowl. I knew I was home.

Someone who writes this well…

Someone who writes this well should be a Michigan fan writing for this blog.

Not sure how excited we…

Not sure how excited we should be. Been a couple years since they called this correctly.

I was a first year law…

I was a first year law student and at that game with some friends. At 27-10 in the fourth quarter, we decided to drown our sorrows in some burgers and beer. As we got up to leave, a guy sitting behind us with his girlfriend told us to wait. He was a State fan. Nice guy. Told us that State was sure to blow it and we would always regret leaving. We were dubious but stayed. Cue the comeback. When Michigan tied it, I glanced back and the poor damn State fan was sitting with his head in his hands. When Michigan won in OT, I looked back again and it looked like the guy hadn’t moved. We said thanks and left. I would have happily bought him a beer then and would do it now too.

I couldn’t understand why we…

I couldn’t understand why we kept Watson in the game as he got repeatedly torched by faster wide receivers, while Ambry Thomas, the fastest guy on the team, sat on the bench.

Shouldn’t our primary Rutger…

Shouldn’t our primary Rutger goal be getting them out of the conference?

On the bright side, we no…

On the bright side, we no longer have to choose between Keegan and Benhart in the incoming class.

The Amateurs is a great read about would-be Olympians.
