To my knowledge JC was not an adidas employee when the deal was made. Historically, adidas has put an employee on campus at all of their premiere all sport schools.
I'm not sure if that is still the case as the number of adidas promo schools has grown in the last 10 years.

Great almost compliment. IMO he's the most underrated guy on defense. Plays hard. Fundamentally sound. Never comes off the field. Makes plays when his number is called.
Could use a couple more average guys like that.

Regardless of the other teams tendencies there is always a player responsible for contain run or pass. I don't know the play call so I assume he is coached to be deeper than the deepest and wider than the widest.

It depends on the call. From the looks of it, Ryan has contain on this play. There is no reason he should get hooked and the QB gets outside of him. Blitz or no.
