Not sure how this wasn't…

Not sure how this wasn't mentioned already.

The Michigan Football Team visited Arlington National Cemetery barely a month ago during their spring trip out east. For those that might have missed it, here are some posts in the media and Facebook about it.

Also, here is a link to their Facebook video for the visit: https://fb.watch/l4SkpCpnLh/

And one post from Arlington Cemetery themselves:

Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss.

Watching Michigan football games with my father was a tradition with me, too.  Even when we were apart, we'd text back and forth during the game and share a call about it after.  Something I dearly miss.

He passed away just over six years ago and I so dearly wish I could share this incredible run with him.  You aren't alone.

It's been a long time since…

It's been a long time since I posted a comment of any type.  I usually just lurk and buy copies of HTTV.

I only logged on now to say a sincere "Thank You" for continuing these series of articles throughout the year.  It would have been easy to pack it in when things were going badly (especially after OSU) and I am sure no one would have blamed you.  Still, you stuck to it and provided thoughtful, balanced, timely, and often humorous content for our enjoyment.  You are a true fan - and a better man than I.

Thank you.

I'm sure Michigan does have some creepy fans but Ohio...

seems to have more than their "fair" share. Here are just a few examples:

Had to do a screen grab for this one. Bonus is you can guess who he is (hint: think bathrooms...]

Edited to respect some privacy with the current creep.

And this might be the creepiest of all.

Notice a trend?

[Apologies to all who might have lost some retina tissue there.]

This might be useful information after all.

I did an amateur scouting report for E.J. Levenberry back in late October/early November based off my observations of one of his games. At the time, I thought it was probably a longshot that we would ever be "in it" for him.

Now that both he and U-M are showing some mutual interest, I thought it might be useful to repost it here.

Take it for what it's worth.

Also, one of the posters ("Bull Dog")  claims, pretty credibly imo, that he is EJ's dad.  Interesting comments by him at the end although I think they were completely missed the first time around because he posted a few days after it went up.

This post is remarkably incredible in its awesomeness.

Love the maize and blue Rebel fighters, Fickel's Imperial Buckeye helmet, and the looming menace of Emperor Meyer.  So many good things packed into one post.

UFRs, recruiting news, game previews/reviews, and Unverified Voracity are just some of the things that make this blog the best in the college sports world.

...this post is another.

Extremely well done!!

edit: #BEAT OHIO!

edit2: get this guy some more bandwidth on his photo account STAT!

Chances with Levenberry (?)

I can't really comment on our chances with Levenberry.  I don't know him personally and have zero contacts with the program.  I do know that most of his early offers came from SEC schools as well as Florida State and Oklahoma.  I think I saw something that he took an unofficial to Florida State last month.

Michigan just offered him during the bye week.  I am assuming it happened on one of the recruiting trips the assistant coaches took during that time. So, Michigan is just entering the fray.  There needs to be some time to elapse and the dust to settle somewhat before anyone knows where his interest lies and who has a legitimate shot.  Probably start to get some ideas in the Spring and Summer.

Historically speaking, most recruits from Virginia head south but there are exceptions.
