Your writeup hit…

Bryan,

Your writeup hit me right in the feels.  The rose bowl has had me missing my father who took me to the '97 OSU game and we watched that Rose Bowl together.  In the last couple of years I have had to settle his and his sister's estates (both alum) who passed early in their mid-50s.  I wish they were here to enjoy this.   It talks to the blend of the good and the bad life serves up.

Your opponent watched was always a bright spot on some of those really heavy days during football season.

Thank you

Hockey goalie here, want to say on the second bank having Edwards cut behind you is a no no and would be partial cause for the slow return to post.  Get up too quickly and you get taken out by your own guy and have a really messy situation.

I wonder if there is a stat on how well these stats correlate to W/L and how fsr we are underperforming expectations.

These type of stats is why I am not currently a customer at Ann Arbor torch and pitchfork.

Depending on year and powertrain, look up F150 single piece drive shaft sticking.  I believe the video mentions its prominent in the F150 but can apply to explorer/expeditions too.  They somehow decided it was okay not to grease the slip shaft for a period of time and it will create symptoms like that where the rear end jumps.  I still need to drop the shaft on my truck...  (I went through the dealer multiple times for having the trans checked and they didn't do anything about it.

How about Bond's Lotus?  Especially if the passenger was included.  Though can't say I take that over the DB

Derby is great fun.  Sounds like it holds a truly special place for you too.

Last time I saw my father was at my 1st Kentucky derby.  Went to the Oaks and then the Derby.  Had a great time with him and some of his friends.  He passed away the next weekend unexpectedly.  I carry his winning ticket that we didn't cash from that derby race with me.  He was going to have his friend cash it for him but his friend hung on and gave it to me.

Been to all the derby's (4) since and always raise a glass of bourbon to him.

Many lots of options and…

Man lots of options and memories.  Some were for the car, some for the people and some for the destination.

The one that made me smile-We were somewhere in FL, my sister and I were teenagers with my divorced dad.  It was our annual get away from the Michigan cold trip.  Dad had splurged to rent a convertible expecting a Mustang.  We got a convertible PT cruiser.  Father was less than happy.  That thing was a dog.  We are sitting outside a convenience store 'discussing' where to get lunch with the top down and a nice gentlemen with the exact matching car pull up.  Proceeds to tell my father what a nice car he has and ask if he's from around here with a big wink.  We never let him live that one down.

Best Views- Took my now fiancé with me to help move my sick father home from SoCal to Detroit.  3 days towing the largest UHaul trailer made some long days in the row.  Got to see the desert like I had never seen before.  Purposefully stopped in Kansas in an AirBnB as far away from the cities as possible because I wanted to show her the stars without light pollution.  We went outside after we got in at midnight from ~15 hours of driving.  We had to have seen 25 or 30 shooting stars.  Almost didn't believe it at the time.  Later learned that it was in the middle of the Perseid meteor shower.  That was a great night and trip in the middle of a real tough time.

I could ramble on about many more that pop up.

Have an X150 as well.  It is a '10 so it is a 5.0 instead and has the supercharger.  It is my any time it is above freezing car (put Pilot Super Sports on it, but next set of tires will be ones that can go below freezing).

Haven't had it long, but reliability has been good and I am 3rd owner.  I worry the e-locking diff is starting to go.

It is fast, but hard to keep the rear end hooked up to be really fast.  Love the looks and driving manner.

I get use of the top pretty much anytime it is warmer than 50 out.  Roll up the windows and have a wind deflector makes the cabin pretty comfortable.  It was 47 out on the drive into work this morning and loved it the ride in top down with a jacket on and a bit of heat.

And Kings

I couldn't put my finger on who he looked like, but you took care of that.  Thank you.

Red

I know how bad normally crazy hockey parents are bad.  But regardless, Red doesn't strike me as the type to put up with any of that.

Ie. Lord Stanley's Cup, just Ie. Lord Stanley's Cup, just to name one notable.
Not happy about getting Not happy about getting Hunwick. Yes he got us here and has played well, but he definitely has a ceiling to his play. Though with a groin, I bet you Hoagies not near 100%. I would say clone Carl and Matt then put them together on three lines. That would be a dream.
+/- When calculating +/- PPG and PPGA don't matter. SHG and SHGA do count.
Brian Hogan>Billy Sauer. At Brian Hogan>Billy Sauer. At least he won't lead us to a frozen four and then CHOKE against a ND team that can't score, and have 3 other lame seasons.
I was just about to say, the I was just about to say, the examples listed above come from the backside ref making a call when the ref in better position let the play go. I am a goal keep myself and take offense to slow whistles. I understand the need to get them called quickly, but that doesn't mean the high side guy should be blowing it dead constantly.
My bad, I didn't read it My bad, I didn't read it closely enough.
Notes *4 point weekend, wins are 3 now *If you don't have newspapers and are in the student section, TURN AROUND. I remember when 16/17 used to have newspaper and the rest of the student section turned around. More turning around. *WHY, WHY, WHY have Chris Brown in the shootout. I love him as a player, but he's not the pretty goalscorer that we seem to have others of on our roster. FWIW, my 3; Carl, AJ, Chad (he dangled someone earlier in the game). No Louie, he just has not been finishing this year.
Question So, maybe I should make a post of this, but who is faster in their respective domains, Carl Hagelin or Denard?
Sitting in the student section So I'm not one of the two guys in the front that got all the ESPN coverage, but I was up just about as close to the field but near the 20. The fans whined about a lot of blown calls (far more than I felt were blown, though we did get a call or two that were friendly), but for the most part were pretty decent to me. Only a few started to talk a bit of smack in the third. Especially shot their mouthes off about Denard, but they got told to hold their tongues but others. It was GREAT how silent it went on the tying touch down. I was actually impressed with how decent the fans were. And there is something to be said for gen admission student tickets (though I wouldn't change assigned seating). Though, on a completely different note, I kind of wish we would have gone for two. We were on the road, had all the momentum in the world, the Spartans were devastated and in no way would have had to let the defense have any more say in the game.
2 Because of their damn lawn gnome for a goaltender while we suffered with Billy. $&@( we should have the most recent national championship....
