GO Chiefs.  I am so sick of all things Kelce, Mahomes and Swift, but I want to see that sniveling little Purdy pretender driven into the ground.

Defend against the QB run after the play breaks down and the Chiefs will win another.

Loved Corum's classic weave through the teeth of the defense on his long run. Wish he continued along the sideline during his run instead of cutting back. Looked like CJ had the defender dead to rights and Corum could have gone the distance.

Also, Mullings was a late ankle trip up after breaking three tackles from going for a long, long gain.  Can't wait to see him in a leading role next year.  Signs of Leroy Hoard all over that guy.

Seemed to me that the play was called to be a QB keeper.  JJ starts to tuck and appears to look for a hole and then hesitates as no hole was there.  Then after a moment, the hole opens and he takes off.  Everyone I watched the game with disagreed with me.

Anyone else think this was a called QB keeper?

Good to know -- Stover had a tough day and cost them a chance to make this game close.  Four receptions for 13 yards.  Got tackled for a 3-yard loss on a sideline pass in the 2nd, then dropped the 4th down pass that Harrell-defended (on the same set of downs) on a drive that was heading towards an OSU 13-3 or 17-3 lead.  In the 4th, got the 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty and then dropped the Sainristil break-up in the end zone in the 4th.

Not a fan of piling on a guy when they have a bad day ... unless they deserve it.

For anyone who was at the '22 game, what did OSU's Stover do earn the 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct flag on the OSU punt at 11:46 in the 4th after McGregor batted down the 3rd and 3 play?

Fox never showed the replay on the penalty and neither Johnson nor Klatt described what happened. Penalty did not lead to anything directly significant as we missed the 57-yard field goal on the ensuing drive, but it certainly added to the narrative.

24-year Evanston resident and the town is mostly in favor of the new stadium (70-30 ish based on yard signs).  The NIMBY-ism of the local residents wanes as as one moves further and further away from it. It's funded by the Ryan family, which funded the former Dyche Stadium for major renovations 2 decades ago (and also stole the stadium name to make it theirs).

If the new football stadium is anything like the new basketball stadium, it will be a hit.  Absolutely love the new Welsh Ryan with its smaller size and close-to-floor sight-lines.

I went to the BIG site and clicked on THE GAME summary and noticed someone updated OSU with a new fresh logo:

Not in the same room, but the same field.  Cooper's ASU team of 1986 beat Harbaugh in his last game for U of M in the 1987 Rose Bowl.    Interestingly, that win by Cooper in the Rose Bowl made him a top candidate for the OSU job after the Bucks fired Earle Bruce.

'88 Game turned on one play...

I remember cursing that "Hey hey hey - goodbye" chant in the fourth quarter of that '88 game as well.  That game was a classic example of Bo playing not to lose. Except Mike Taylor hit Chris Calloway late in the game on an out that would have given Blue a first down and a take-a-knee victory.  The ref started to signal a catch but win-at-all-costs Jimmy Johnson went screaming and pumping those chubby arms up and down and the ref agreed that Chris Calloway bobbled the ball going out of bounds.  We punted and the Canes hit the game winner moments later.  Replay says that Calloway had the ball tight.

The first 3.5 quarters of that game was total domination by Blue on both sides of the ball, and Bo called an agressive game until the end.  That bad ref call, and a Mike Gillete game winner that was not-to-be the week before in South Bend and Michigan wins the NC that year.

Ace  -- Harbaugh memories:  '85 ND, '86 ND and '86 Iowa.  I think the '85 ND game set the tone for his career coming back from the busted wing in '84.
