MGoPodcast 7.18: Ace's Gravitational Wave Podcast
46 minutes

A big thanks to our sponsors. The show is presented by UGP & Moe's and frankly would not be happening without them; Rishi and company have been on board here from almost the beginning. Shopping with them helps us and supports good dudes. Check out 100years.moe for the rich history of Michigan's oldest apparel store.
Our other sponsors are also key in the expanding empire: thanks to Homesure Lending, Ann Arbor Elder Law, the Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown, and the University of Michigan Alumni Association.
Basketball
Ace doesn't know about gravitational waves. He does know about basketball. Michigan's win over Purdue was very strange. But it was a win. Caris return, Irvin going ham, Walton closing it out.

This segment is frosty. Ace has never seen Hunt For Red October, which is just… that seems impossible to me.

The worst goal ever. Segue from there into general league competence stuff, of which there doesn't seem to be much. The team is the team is the team at this point.

It's seems we have lost another submarine...
What a great movie. Sean Connery and a skinny Alec Baldwin.

Some things in here don't react too well to bullets.

I remember one instiance of Lorenz turning spicy is when he was talking about a recruit looking at Michigan's engineering school and then said of the school we were competeing with "I don't know if they even have an engineering program".

I ordered brian and ace potato shirts and a copy of The Hunt for Red October for Ace while we were recording. I also learned that yelling in the studio while they're recording still doesn't get my voice on the podcast. You just hear a blank spot (that I truncated) and then brian's like "we're ordering them now!"
Also the songs weren't in the post and Podcast posts aren't editable on the client side. They are:
- "The Egg" by Apollo Sunshine from the album Katonah, which I can't recommend enough. And
- "Flowers on the Wall" (Smokin' Cigarettes and Watchin Captain Kangaroo) by the Statler Brothers, from the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack

possibly the greatest Naval yarn ever written. The movie, while showing it's years, definitely exudes 'guy flick'. Highly recommend you see it Ace, it's practically bucket list material.

as Ace said, he can't be helped, he's a millenial.
What's up with the cringeworthy homesure lending ads?

It seems like the HomeShare Lending kid has been "seven and a half" for half a year now.
