Per Brendan Quinn's Twitter:

Zeb Jackson Sr., the father of top-100 2020 guard Zeb Jackson, tells @TheAthleticDET that his son is holding firm in his commitment to U-M, in light of the Howard reports. "As long as Coach Howard and his staff remain as excited about Zeb as Coach Beilein and his staff," he said.

I wonder how Jalen's dad first reacted to his wife wanting to name their son after another specific man lol

Imagine telling your wife you want to name your daughter after Pamela Anderson or something. Scorched Earth would ensue

Tweet from Zaviers dad

"Was watching the game with X and we was FaceTiming on the phone with Zeb. This clown @iamzebjackson1 hangs up and calls me right back to tell me I’m ugly, then hangs up the phone on me. Dude, U know U and X are 2 of the ugliest dues in NW Ohio"

Zeb retweeted it LOL

Zavier Simpson's dad is Zeb Jackson's coach and I guess he was just relaying some Facetime shenanigans that Zeb pulled when Zavier Simpson and his father were Facetiming Zeb?

Just thought it was funny Zaviers dad called Zeb and Zavier the two ugliest dudes in Ohio. Also shows Zeb has a good relationship with people connected to the program so his commitment has always been strong

Zeb Jackson Sr also said that Zeb is as excited about Howard as he was with Beilein, as long as they keep the assistants intact so that's good

Emoni Bates is the next KD. The amount of a money he will be offered from scumbag coaches will be impossible for Howard and Michigan to out-recruit

And as the other guy said Emoni probably goes straight to the NBA.

Juwan Howard will have a whole year to recruit him (as will other programs) so I don't think it matters that much what he says today. It does help he is staying publicly committed and having strong connections to Zavier Simpson and his father.

Personally, I am more concerned about next year and getting Howard off on the right foot. Michigan has three open scholarships right now without Jalen Wilson.
