We need to see how this week of practice unfolds. Remember last year? Barnum was the C, Devin was either the #1 or #6 WR depending on who you asked, Nathan Brink was a starter, and Rawls was pushing Fitz. THIS is the week of practice where things sort themselves out and even then it can bleed into the season. Let's wait until we hear about what happened at the scrimmage and practice on Monday and Tuesday and I think we'll all have a much better idea.

I've got Spike at PG(Walton will push him hard, but he's got to learn the offense and devensive scheme)

Nik at SG(See notes above, insert Z. Irvin)

This is where it gets interesting.  I'd like to put GR3 at SF to maximize his draftable skills(I dont think he's a PF in the NBA).  But Caris is like 6-7 or 6-8 now.  He's kind of a natural SF but he might be able to check a PF in a pinch as well.  Having GR3 at PF really gives us a quickness advantage and spreads the floor though.

From a rebounding perspective, it would really be great if McGary's jumper carried over from the tournament.  Then we could afford, spacing-wise, to put another big with McGary(Morgan or Horford).  Obviously it's not going to matter what we do against UMass Lowell, but I look forward to seeing how that developes.

I have to wonder if Wormley and/or Henry aren't making strong cases at DT, which for some reason to me sounds more reasonable than Clark-Q-Black-Heitzman.  I am beginning to wonder if we will see Clark-Q-Henry-Black with Heitzman, Pipkins, Wormley, and Charlton subbing in, especially in the OOC games.

As for the OL, I think the interior will be Bryant-Miller-Kalis. It looked like Miller was playing all the center snaps from he scrimmage. Glasgow will probably be first off the bench at guard UNLESS Braden makes a push at RT and Schofield is able to move over. Being that the season is 2 weeks away, I don't see that happening and I think Braden is a reserve guard working toward being a starting tackle next year.

but have been specifically hoping for it. I would much rather see Black at SDE that DT, he just isn't nig enough and he has the quickness that he could cause problems at SDE IMHE. Again, I don't really expect that to happen as all reports are he is staying at DT, but I have been hoping for it. Then again, I know very little about the intricacies of football and will obviously trust the coaches to make the right decision.

Norfleet at starting running back. Norfleet will lead the early Heisman polls after running for 250 yards and 4 TDs against CMU. Gardner does not attempt a pass the whole game.
