Seems like most of the guys I am familiar with made the “right” choice Including Tillman and Henry at MSU, Livers, and Garza at Iowa.

I am less familiar with the prospects of the 2 kids from Illinois - thought both of them had a shot at a guaranteed contract had they stayed in.

In any event the B1G will be loaded next year.

Yeah, Henry was considering it as well. Just looking at his skill and athleticism, he has the tools to be an NBA player in the future. His main problem was confidence on the offensive end. He didn't look comfortable when he was expected to be a focal point of the offense. Early in the season, he was the third option after Winston and Tillman, and he seemed like he wasn't sure whether to create for himself or set up a teammate. Then after Rocket stepped up as the third guy, Henry's offense improved like he was more sure of himself. He's a really good defender and a good passer, so I think he could be a solid role player in the NBA

I think they have a ton of options with the 2 given the versatility of Brooks, Livers, and Wagner. I don't think Davis really held down the 5 at the second half of the season, and Dickinson is a burly freshman who will probably have the same mobility issues to start. With the 5, my main concern is defense.

Tillman makes a ton of sense in the NBA if for no other reason than his flexibility in defense.  Smart move by him, and glad Izzo let his grandma leave the basement with him.

I think I understand - plenty of people, like Tillman, look to make course corrections in their life as they pass into their forties. Forty was the age where I left management to take my old represented position back, after all. We all need that change in pace or perspective sometimes.

The two returning to the Illini are big surprises.  I saw both of them making an NBA team.  Rare for Big Ten Freshman of the year to stay in school.  Illini might be the team to beat in the league.

Good for you Xavier.  Have a fine career and make a nice life for your family.

Michigan has a better chance with you in the NBA for sure.
