No. The media would be all over it and bring back all the negatives from 07. This is a new, fresh team. The days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust is over. If we played app. st now we would beat them down as bad as we beat down delaware st.

I would be okay with playing them again since RR would likely have the guys focused enough to create an outcome similar to playing Delaware State and I'd rather play App State than Delaware State if forced to choose between the two.

Dumb idea. It would only further legitimize the past winner as 'the better team.' No matter the outcome of a second game, it says 'UM thinks the first game was no fluke, and wants to show that they can actually beat App St.' When everyone, excpet a lot fo folk here it seems, understands that the better team did not win that day. Wanting a re-match shows insecurity in terms of that history.
