Women head coaches
Since we have seen quite the response to the racism in head coaching discussion (in the thread "black head coaches"), it is only appropriate to now consider sexism. As reported by ESPN:

Awesome. I didn't even realize it. I was just trying to be consistent with the title of the other thread (black head coaches), which, now with your suggested reading doesn't sound very good either...

If a woman can win, then why not let them have at it?
Granted women's basketball is a different game/style than men's BB, but hey, all else equal, I'd be cool with giving Pat Summit a chance.... Ok, maybe i find it a little weird...

In all seriousness though, I think recruiting for even an excellent woman coach would be a possibly insuromountable challenge.
With the exception of ultimate frisbee and curling, sports are still segregated by the sexes.
