Women's Swimming Leads B1G
After Day 3 of the B1G Championships (and a few massive lead changes,) the women's swim team stands in first place -- here's the rundown:
1) Michigan 891
2) Indiana 845.5
3) Minnesota 612.5
M B1G Champions: Siobhan Haughey in the 200 free; Clara Smiddy in the 100 back.
M B1G Runners-Up: Ali DeLoof in the 100 back and the 400 medley relay team.
The final session of the meet will be tomorrow night, and it's likely to come down to the wire.

The 200 free victoy by Haughey and the 100 back 1-2 were just huge. 3m divers got us some nice points too.

Yup. We scored very few points across the three diving events last year, so that's been a hugely important improvement.

Smiddy is an awesome name. That's all I got because I don't know anything about the sport, but I'm supporting blue all the way!

We gotta kill it in prelims tomorrow. Thankfully we did so today.
We scored 100 points in the championship heat of the 100yd Backstroke alone because four of eight swimmers in that event were from Michigan.
Took 1, 2, T-4th and 6th.
Let's close this thing out by the home team raising the trophy tomorrow.

When I saw this title I initially read it as Women's Swimming Lanes. Couldn't believe someone was analyzing our swimming recruiting.
