About the 1 fumble he had? What if when you guys got married everyone said "congrats on the marriage, remember that slut you dated??". Come on. Straight up congrats. He helped win many games.

His return to school has made for some unique moments, considering some of his classmates are players he coaches. Carr used the opportunity to challenge the players to beat his grades and grade point average. But they challenged him, too.

I actually hadn't realized Carr did not graduate.

I like how he said "eighteen mature years later" at one point in the discussion and talked about wanting to set an example for his son though. It takes a lot of detrmination and strength of character to want to do this nearly twenty years after you began, and that's a pretty good example to set indeed. Congratulations to Carr!

Life is not a race. You don't get extra points for graduating at age 21. Will Carr stepped up and completed his degree in style at age 40.

Congrats, big guy!

I lived in Yuma when he was coaching Randy Gregory at Arizona Western. (My sons' first football games were Arizona Western games.) It may only be Arizona JuCo, but those teams dominated their opposition on both sides of the ball.  I am glad to see him follow his dream back to Michigan and graduate. Best of luck to him. I am sure he will land a staff position soon somewhere.
