Wide receiver survey

Submitted by blue in dc on March 21st, 2021 at 8:54 AM

A few weeks back I did a survey on the running back room (results finally posted in the diary section).   I am trying a second for wide receivers.

I have made a few changes based on so e of the feedback to the last survey.   First, I hope I have provided real time access to the results.   Second, for questions about which player makes you most comfortable about the floor and ceiling of the wide receiving group I have added an option for overall depth.    Third I have added a question about what other factors might keep the wide receivers from reaching their full potential (fundamentals coaching, gameplan/playcalling, quarterback play, offensive line play).  I also apologize about the order of the questions, for reasons zi don’t understand, it did not put them in the order I created them and zi can’t figure out how to re-order

For a quick review of our receivers:

Last year:

Ronnie Bell led the team in receptions at 26 and yards at 401.   He was second in yards per catch at 15.4 and had 1 TD catch

Cornelius Johnson led the team in yards per catch at 15.9 and TD catches at 3.   He was second in yards and catches at 254 and 16 respectively.

Giles Jackson had 15 catches for 167 yards

Roman Wilson had 9 catches for 122 yards.   He had 1 TD catch

Mike Sainristil had 2 TD catches and 7 catches total for 82 yards

A..J. Henning had 6 catches for 59 yards

The newcomers:

Xaivier Worthy - 4 star top 100

Cristian Dixon - 4 star top 250

Andrel Anthony 3 star

*newcomer numbers from 247 composite

Regardless of the "Jimmies and Joes" who are the WR, they must win the 50/50 balls, run accurate routes and have very few dropped passes. They'll need a QB who can deliver the deep passes so the onus is hot entirely on the WR corps.
