What time is Vlad Emilien making his announcement today?? (PAGING TOM VANHAAREN... PAGING DR. VANHAAREN)
Would really appreciate someone posting it up when the decision is made, and I'm sure they will. I'd really dare to hope that he makes the right choice and goes for the winged helmet... I mean, really, WISCONSIN?? Last big recruit I remember losing to the Badgers was Johnathan Orr, and that name doesn't exactly roll of the tongue on Sundays.
Oh, and is there any chance Vlad Emilien can TACKLE A TAILBACK????

Chitownblue is correct. Vlad is announcing Monday because the media wasn't available today. If you're listening to Sam Webb on WTKA you're hearing the Vlad is a huge Michigan lean. Let's hope Sam is right.

If we get Vlad to Michigan how many more recruits will we get? I think we've got room for a total of 25 or 26 which dependent on when they arrive enroll at Michigan.
So if we have room for 5 more recruits which positions need the most help now?

it depends on how many more player leave the program.. 'attrition' will be popular word over the next 3 months.

You can't have more than 25 recruits in a class. If we take more, some will not have to qualify.

of the previouse threads, someone asked Brian about this (regarding OSU maybe over-signing this year), and he said that the number 25 was more like a "soft cap". I'll see if I can find it, but I doubt it.

We can have 28 (if there are 25 open slots) because we can count 3 early enrolled kids on last year's cap (The three spots from last year come from Spoon, Demens, and Stonum counting against the class before).

enrollees can be counted in the previous class or the current one. Stonum could be retroactively added to the '07 class. Which means 2 early enrollees can go towards '08 for this year, leaving us with an allowment of 27, if I remember correctly.

He's announcing tomorrow at 9AM, and is going to call me once he does to let me know who it was.
I've said this a couple times now, but this one scares me. I think he's going to pick Michigan, but there are so many conversations we've had, things he's said in other interviews, and just hunches I've had that have made me think about every situation that could happen.
It's hard to get in my head, but he did it somehow. I can't figure him out. So we'll just have to see.
