Who is going to go after Mike Leach?

That didn't take long. Where will he end up if anywhere. Maybe he'll just do more guest apperances on Friday Night Lights.

james is just another pampered spoiled brat who didn't get playing time since he didn't work hard, and used his moderately famous dad (who i cant stand) to help him fire a good coach. he could go to the pac-10 maybe, (washington state?) but he'll need to hang low for a year or so.

The Cleveland Browns should hire him as their OC, or maybe even HC to replace Mangini if Holmgren fires him so he can bring in his own guy, although promoting college coaches to the professional ranks tends to work out poorly. Plus Mike Leach's teams haven't been known for their defense and it's possible that his Air Raid offense is just suited for the college game, but you never know.

Tim, as a Browns fan the idea of Mike Leach as OC has some possible merit (although in the NFL the D coordinators have a way of quickly figuring out college offenses like Leach's very quickly...I'm looking at you June Jones). Anyway, the Air Raid isn't going to help too much in CTown after December 1 in 40 mile an hour winds and -20 degrees against defenses with gigantic safeties who can cover that offense in zone and kill your run with speed. As an aside, I'm figuring Holmgren looks strongly at Chucky Gruden since they have a prior relationship and both "West Coast Offense" guys...but it being the Browns it will get screwed up somehow.

Well, at the very least if the Browns have learned anything, hopefully it's to stay as far away as possible from anyone having to do with Bill Belichick. That man and his assistants have worked magic in New England and elsewhere, but they has been nothing but poison for Cleveland since the day that Belichick first benched Kosar.

The truth probably lies halfway in between what each side is saying. If I were James, I would think about transferring to another school as his life is probably not going to be a lot of fun. I would also think that this case will follow a similar pattern to the case involving RichRod when he came to Michigan. There will be a lot of back and forth, but before the case goes to trial, Leach will be offered and will accept something equal to about half what he is due under his contract. Where did he find his attorney? Not only did he appear rhetorically compromised, but to show up in camos for an interview with a reporter?

Buffalo needs a young offensive minded coach to rebuild this team. Leach would fit in well there. Expectations are low, salary demands would be low and it would put him in a great situation in Buffalo where he can't lose. More importantly he won't have to deal with parents, which at this point I am sure would be desired by him.
