Wrestlers don't play.

I heard Amine broke his finger at the RTC duals practice.
I have not heard what is wrong with Micic.

Since you're following wrestling, I'll just give you a heads up. Wrestling teams don't have players, it's just a team of wrestlers. You don't play wrestling, you just wrestle.
Those two guys will probably be back a week or two before most reasonable people would consider coming back. But in the meantime, check out Michigan's freshman 125 pounder. In the first minute of his first match in maize and blue, he ragdolled and pinned a nationally ranked opponent.

Isn't the WWE "play" wrestling?

Dude got knocked out by a folding chair getting kicked into his head and you call it "play"?

Is rag-dolling a wrestling technical term?
Do you score extra points in your match for the rag-doll?

For all the older people, the Four Seasons sang Rag Doll.

Both made the Olympics. Micic for Serbia and he's already taken 2 Olympic redshirt years so he can't take another and Myles for San Marino. He's only taken 1 Olympic redshirt but a lot of wrestlers opt to train freestyle specifically and avoid folkstyle while training for the Olympics. Jelani Embree is the one I'm not sure of. I expected a big year from him and he's been AWOL without any explanation.

I heard Amine on a podcast a month or so ago and he said his plan was to compete this season. There is no need to take an Olympic redshirt as this year doesn't count against anybody's eligibility. If Micic decides he doesn't want to wrestle this year to solely focus on freestyle then he can sit out and still come back and wrestle for Michigan next year. Now, whether these guys would want to come back next season or just move on with their lives is a different question, as both turn 25 this year. My guess is that we'll see both Micic and Amine back this year at some point before the Big 10 tournament and NCAAs. It's a shortened, dual-only regular season this year and all that really matters are those two tournaments anyway.
