what is the visitor section Bryce Jordan Center
i'm thinking about going to the Michigan basketball game at Penn State at the end of the season and was wondering if anyone knew where the visitor section is located. I figure i'd try the board first before making a few phone calls. thanks for any information.

That arena is almost always 75% empty, regardless of the opponent, so it may not even matter. I don't know what PSU was thinking when it built a 15,000-seat building.

The bjc holds some great concerts and non-basketball events. I wouldn't worry about getting away tickets to that game. If you buy directly from psu, I think tickets are 5 bucks and you can sit almost anywhere. Add to that it's the first week of spring break in happy valley and you may be looking at court side seats for mere pennies.

I've travelled there before - forget about what your ticket says. You can get excellent seats anytime PSU plays basketball at home.

visitor seats are usually like 50 people right behind the visitors' bench, and the rest is just anywhere else in the arena amongst the home fans

You mean Penn State is NOT the hotbed of college basketball experience like Raleigh-Durham, Bloomington or Ann Arbor? Places where students camp out for days just to get a chance at a ticket and alumnai pack the remaining seats with screaming fans? What complete losers THEY are.
Oh wait......never mind.

If you're trying to make a "pot calling the kettle black" argument, that doesn't really fly. PSU's fan support is several orders of magnitude worse than ours. Through 10 home games they're averaging 5,520 fans per game this season (and that's tickets sold, not people in the seats).

I beg to differ. We can poke fun of other schools lack of fan support in football, hockey and even some of the other non-revenue sports like gymnastics. But just because they are worse than us doesnt make us good. That's a glass house we should keep all our rocks out of IMO.
