What is a realistic approach to replacing this horrible staff?

I ask with based on what craters recruiting more, and what is better for the long term.

1) Fire Don Brown tomorrow?

2) Replace entire staff at end of year?

3) Send Harbaugh packing tomorrow and leave Gattis as interim for the rest of the year?

This ship is sunk.

Who would've thought that Michigan could be playing Illinois for the placement game at the end of the season for worst team in the league. Freaking garbage. Sick of watching this nonsense week in week out. Manuel won't do anything unless hairball wants to leave unfortunately.

I don't want to hear the media go nuts about Harbaugh and how this is just like Bo Pelini and how we're firing a good coach, and how we need to accept what we are, and how arrogant we are for wanting to win football games, etc, etc.

Give Harbaugh enough rope to hang himself at this point. They look on course for 2 wins, I feel pretty confident wagering that this staff can't turn it around, because, you know, that's the problem.

The media won't be able to say much, and we enter our coaching search without a bunch of nonsense about us giving a guy the hook too early.

Replace the entire staff at the end of the year.  It’s a sucky reality, but you’ll retain the most recruits that way..  and talent will be needed.

Search committee should be full boar today though.
