What's your favorite...

So, I was reading the thread about blue pants and the other one about the o-line. It got me thinking, what's your favorite brand of NSAID pain reliever?

I tend to buy Kirkland brand, but can appreciate Advil too.

Take it easy on me, it's my 1000th thread.

Also as a PSA: Stay away from acetemenophine (tylenol) folks. It's surprisingly easy to overdose on it, and it has killed more than 1,500 people in the US from accidental overdoses (link). If you do take it, never take more than recommended. It doesn't actually help anyway.

It's definitely more dangerous than ibuprofen and aspirin, but I would tell people to be careful, not necessarily stay away. It's the only thing that works for severe headaches for me, which probably means that applies for many others too. A 500mg tablet is powerful and probably the most anyone should take in a day.  Ibuprofen works only for muscle aches for me. Alcohol takes care of the heartaches.

I am the exact opposite. I get migraines, and only NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, toradal) do anything for me. Acetaminophen has no effect. Problem is I went into renal failure a couple years ago due to rhabdo, and I'm not supposed to take NSAIDs due to them being metabolized via the kidneys.

I had a bad experience with acetaminophen a couple years back while following a doctor's/prescription's orders. Extreme dizziness, nausea, and what felt like fading in and out of consciousness. I don't know if it was a sensitivity to the drug or the amount the doctor was having me take, but I felt like I was going to die. I now stay away from any pain medication of any sort.

I had a similar bad experience with percocet many years ago, after downing a six pack and splitting a fifth of vodka with the guitarist in my band, then splitting the entire percocet prescription I was given after having my wisdom teeth extracted. The guitarist fell down in the middle of the set and didn't get up. I fell down too but I got up. never again.

The combination cures headaches and helps to forget painful losses. It's also the closest color combo I've found to Maize and Blue.
