Week 2 Gambling Thread

“The most improvement comes between weeks 1 and 2”

This cliche also applies to Vegas lines, although I feel like there is still some variance as they aren’t quite as dialed in to the 2019 teams as they will be by say week 4.

Here are my picks:

#23 Stanford +1 @ USC

#21 Syracuse +1.5 @ Maryland

W. Michigan @ #19 Michigan State, UNDER 46.5

Central Michigan +35 @ #17 Wisconsin

Buffalo +29.5 @ #15 Penn State

#6 LSU @ #9 Texas, UNDER 57.5

Army @ #7 Michigan -22

#12 Texas A&M @ #1 Clemson: UNDER 62.5

Let’s hear yours, and what you cashed last week. I went 4-3 thanks to Utah kneeling on it inside the 5...yikes.

I’ve got write-ups and leans on all FBS v FBS top 25 games if you’re interested here: https://cfbstatnation.com

Good luck this week!

You've got balls taking Michigan -22.  I have even bigger balls because I have Michigan -23 (shakes fist at taking the bet one day too early).

Nah, I think we'll cover -23 but it'll be late in the game whilst I sweat it out.

I went 5-2 last week. Auburn ruined it for me. This week I have:

Wake Forest -17.5 v. Rice

Nebraska v Colorado +4

Wyoming -7 v Texas State

Arkansas State +2.5 v UNLV

Army +22.5 v Michigan

I like OSU to cover -16.5 vs. Cinci. Cincinnati didn't look great vs. an awful UCLA

Wisconsin's going to easily get -35 vs. CMU I think

I'll take Texas +6 too

I won on Boise and lost on Michigan last weekend.  I really thought we would cover the 35 for the same reason I think we cover again this weekend:  2 quarterbacks competing should lead to an extended amount of 'serious' snaps in the game.

I went 5-1 last week:

Kentucky -12 vs Toledo

Cinci -2.5 vs UCLA

Georgia -21.5 vs Vandy

3 game teaser:

     Syracuse -13, Bama -27.5, osu -21.5

2 game parlay:

ND vs Louisville - Under 54.5

ND -18 vs Louisville - PUSH

This week I have some high numbered teasers/parlays (9 game and a 6 game), but also have:

Army vs Michigan Under 47.5

Parlay: Washington -13.5 vs Cal; and the Over (44.5)

Kansas City Chiefs -3.5 vs Jacksonville

3 game parlay: Browns -5.5, KC -3.5, Chargers -6.5

I am in a betting league, so these are all with credits. Good luck everyone!

  • Illinois -21.5 over UConn. UConn is perhaps worse than Arkon (who's giving 9.5 to Alabama... Birmingham at home). Illini big.
  • Rutger +20 over Iowa. The Rutger finally has an actual D-1 QB in Carter. He and Blackshear score just enough to cover this one. Iowa 38-21.
  •  SD State/ UCLA under 45. UCLA scored 14 vs Cinci, SD State scored 6, and won, vs Weber St. I'd be surprised if this game broke 30 at this rate.
  • Stanford +3 at USC and under 44. Clay Helton is a terrible coach. Clay Helton with a true freshman QB... Yeesh. Urban will be soon hearing the siren's song girls.

Anybody play with parlays? Maybe they're a sucker bet but I have fun with them. A few guys and I throw in each week, we went 7/8 last week but missed on the Northwestern/Stanford game because of the fumble recovery for a TD. Would have paid out +$1800 per person

Mine this week:

Wake Forest ML @ Rice
Boise State ML vs Marshall
Maryland -1.5 vs Syracuse
Clemson ML vs Tx A&M
Colorado ML vs Nebraska
Kentucky ML vs EMU
Ohio State -17 vs Cincinnatti

$15 to win $222.33

UCF -10.5 @ FAU
Stanford +2.5 @ USC
Ohio State -17 vs Cincinnatti
Nebraska/Colorado OVER 64 (hate this pick)
Texas A&M @ Clemson OVER 64.5

$15 to win $374.60

Hello guys! I started gambling not so long ago and I don't have big experience in it. However, I was able to find Casino BankID and in my opinion, this is very convenient. So, if you want to try it, this is completely credible and trustworthy. So, good luck!

For me, gambling is forbidden fruit. I can't help playing poker on weekends with friends. It's a fantastic pastime. Sometimes I play online on joker123 ios. It's really gripping. What's your favourite game of luck?
