Weather for Saturday
You shouldn't be on here...you're going to infect the entire board. The CDC would not be happy with you. Please be more considerate in the future.
+1 For making me laugh.
For those who are attending Wal-Mart has maize ponchos for $4.00. Picked up a couple a few days ago.
A Wal-Mart Wolverine. Now that douche Pat Caputo has at least two hours of material.
Yeah, if my computer gets a virus i'm kicking someones' ass.
I don't think sickness from a hangover is contagious. Just sayin.
I'm not as worried about rain as I am temperature. Tate played well in the rain at State. He did NOT play well in the cold against Iowa.
I think the rain just puts more pressure on the skill position guys to... say it with me now... HOLD ON TO THE GODDAMN BALL.
HOLD ON TO THE GODDAMN BALL.
WAIT WAIT, is it a fast or slow rain?!?!?!
I am sure it will be wet.
what she said...
I usually don't condone this sort of thing, but I applaud you just this once.
But sometimes people put the ball on the tee.
water *is* the essence of moisture, after all
I'll be optimistic. Tate needs a little more time to build up to that kind of weather. High 40's isn't too bad.
I have been to a lot of games over the years and sat in some nasty weather. I'm remembering an Illinois game during the Moeller years that we had all but won, then fumbled it away. Freezing rain and freezing cold.
That Illinois game held my personal #1 worst weather spot... until last year's NU game. Just NASTY.
Absolutely the coldest I have ever been in my life - hands down - not even close.
Mad props to my fiancee for making it through the whole game with me. There are a lot of people that did not, and I don't blame them for a single second.
She wasn't my fiancee then, but she is now, not solely because she sat through that entire game with me without complaining even once, but partly.
Just wondering, aren't wet conditions supposed to hurt passing offenses? And considering the fact that our passing defense is terrible, and our offense is built around the run, it's probably (read: possibly) a good thing if game situations are wet.
I think we're alright as long as it's not a monsoon like last year's ND game in South Bend.
I also hope it remains dry for the simple fact that I'll be at the game. Last time I went to the Big House to watch us play Penn State, I witnessed Henne to Manningham on the final play.
first Penn State game... Hopefully we can relive that magic. Actually, no, I changed my mind. Hopefully we can be up by 17 and not stressed out to the point of impending stroke. Ahhh, Screw it, the drama is tough to deny...
