We're Expanding: Satellite Camp in Indy Will Also Feature U-M's Coaches in Lacrosse, Volleyball, Cheer

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

Jim Harbaugh doesn't just want to steal your football recruits. He wants all your recruits for all your sports.

The AD from Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was on WTKA this morning, and he told Sam that in addition to Harbaugh and his guys, the June 1 satellite camp at his school will feature Michigan's cheerleading, volleyball and men's and women's lacrosse coaches, too.

Your move, Hugh Freeze.

It's going to be really hard for the ACC & SEC to make another run at banning camps after this announcement. Not saying they won't try, but you can't use the "think of the children" argument when you are helping non-revenue sport recruits at the same time. The "it's okay for other sports but just don't include football" argument will look pretty dumb also.

Plus, the SEC and ACC are all now actively engaged in their own satellite camps.  All of their previous moral outrage arguments are now gone.

"Please ban satellite camps so we don't have to work so hard to compete with Jim Harbaugh" is just not a very compelling argument, even for their cronies in the NCAA.

Now me and the homeys don't have to waste time following every little tweet, or waste money on pay sites, or stress out over who's in and who's out.

Although we'll probably do it anyway.

Come to think of it: What's the fun of recruiting unles you let it deplete you wallet, detract from your work, and ravage your peace of mind?
