WBB - First Rd game vs FGCU on now

M's WBB team is playing their first round game against FGCU right now on ESPN2. M is up 24-17 after the first quarter.

Apparently Amy Dilk didn't make the trip this weekend. Not sure why.

Moving on in what the commentators say is the hardest regional!

And broke the longest winning streak in women's b'ball.

Next, Tennessee.

Go, Blue!

Not sure why Amy didn’t make the trip either. Regardless, great win considering ESPN analysts were all playing up the Eagles offense. What I didn’t expect was truly atrocious officiating. It may have been worse than the worse of the B1G men’s season.

Awesome 1/2 court D show, really impressive. And well L Brown...

Tenn will have to be everyone playing out of their minds, that's an excellent team. If they can stop them from running and defend the 3 we have something of a chance, despite the 1v1 matchup problems.

Whatever, bring on the Lady Vols!

As someone who attended UTSA at one point, I was cracking up at them playing at what must be one of the worst D1 college basketball arenas out there.

Nice 22 point win.

Something I find odd is that FGCU was actually favored to win by ESPN. On their win probability graph, FGCU had a win probability of 59.0% at the start of the game, and after FGCU made the first basket, it shot up to 67.3%. When FGCU had a slim 42-40 lead in the third quarter, their win probability was a fairly robust 61.0%.

I just find that odd since Michigan was a much higher seed, and obviously they handily won.
