You meant to type 2001. 1/25/2001 was the last time Michigan won there (58-49).
First time Michigan has swept the season series since 1999-00. Only the third season sweep of them ever.
Goree with another double-double as per usual with 17 points and 10 boards.
The amazing freshman Katelynn Flaherty went 3-4 from behind the arc.
Michigan is now 14-8 and 6-5 in the B1G. The latest bracketology has them in the tournament at an 8 seed.
KBA has done a fantastic job with this program thus far. This team is truly a blast to watch. Had the WBB game going on my laptop while the....sigh....MBB game was on TV....

Anyone else think someone like Western Buffalo Bayside had knocked off Izzo's team?

Any non-football, MBB, or hockey thread is just a race to beat WD.

I really enjoy watching the young woman play. I also agree with Wolverine Devotee that our coach gets seemingly every last drop of effort out of this exciting team. Congrats girls!

According to ESPN's women's bracketologist, Michigan was a 9 seed before this game. MSU is terrible, so I don't know if they'll move up but a loss could have really affected the resume.
And what is up with MSU's WBB team? Usually they're pretty solid, at the least, but this year they look awful.

I noticed last night that he hadn't downvoted the OP, and just noticed again the lack of his downvote. Could he have again have been caved ?
More importantly, though, congratulations to the WBB team for slaying the monkey that's long been on their back. Way to go, gals!!!
