I need a way to print one picture over multiple sheets of paper, so that I can make it really big. I seem to recall a website being mentioned in the mgocommunity that would allow me to do this.
WAY OT: Printing a Large Picture
Check this out...
It outputs things in a bunch of dots but it looks nice when put together
Rasterbating... So hot.
It would cost money, but kinkos or a UPS store can print poster sized documents. If you are on campus (any campus) they will be large format plotters hidden around also.
There's on on the 4th floor of the Union IIRC. You may have to pay a bit to have it done though. There are probably a few print shops in Ann Arbor. I don't remember Dollar Bill or Accucopy having large printers, but they might.
There also are roll printers in the Fishbowl and the Dude... the one in the Fishbowl is like 8 dollars a foot and the Dude is like 15 dollars a foot.
That could blow up a picture just like you are talking about. After doing some research the term is rasterization or rasterbate.
Use the same link as the first poster. Someone I know freshman year did this and it looked really really cool.
