Watching The Game in The Caribbean

Dear MGoBrethren,

I'll be in the Caribbean for a week starting Friday. I know; tough life. The bad part is that The Game happens during this time and the place we're staying has no TV.  That said, they do have internet. Are there any options for streaming ABC games outside the USA? Listening? I'm sure there are the standard use at your own risk streaming options available which I'll go to if necessary but was hoping there was another intrepid game watcher among us who might have experienced the same problem.

I know people on boats sometimes have Dish/DirecTV but I couldn't find a Dish listing anywhere. It appears that DirecTV has a caribbean offering if I can find a place with that, and ABC is channel 172... that said our mobility will be limited.

Also, if anyone just so happens to be in the Grenadines, let me know and we can strategize!

I already know which sunshiney bar I'll be watching our bowl game in over the holiday. Hopefully it will be delightfully saccharine.

Or any other sports site...have someone else log onto mgoblog or have them go to mgovideo.com and get the torrent for you

If you were on St. Vincent, it wouldn't be an issue at all. However, the Grenadines are fairly remote. I was there probably 5 years back, and there wasn't much in the way of television or sports bars. You might be stuck streaming.

I lived in many parts of the Caribbean, and you are probably out of luck for TV.  Streaming is your best choice, and keep your fingers crossed.

Someone mentioned Negril? Yeah, we have DirecTV and Telstar Cable all over Jamaica; if he was there, would be no issue whatsoever.

They have Karib Cable in St. Vincent & the Grenadines iirc if you happen to find someone near you who has it.

I love the carribean, been to a bunch of different islands.

But I would never schedule a trip there during Michigan-Ohio State week.  There are times when being home in the 'ole USA is the place to be.  This is one of those.

Sorry to hijack your post...  But I just found out my Buckeye in-laws are having Thanksgiving on Saturday at noon.....  Come someone help me find a live feed/stream of the game for my laptop so I can yell TOUCHDOWN when they are saying Grace?
