I'm more disappointed on how this (ncaa major sports) is becoming a shamelessly pay-to-play operation.

Oh, for sure.
I stopped watching the NFL years ago due to all the garbage that money brings to the game.
College always had the undercurrent of pay-to-play that we didn't participate in (at least outwardly) because UM acted above it.
Now it is "legal" and OK via NIL, and UM is still hiding in their basement polishing their last (shared) National Championship trophy.

Once again, our Ivy League president couldn't give 2 shits, let alone 1, about the Athletic Department. Good thing he will be gone.

Nolen's dad as well as lots of other people have mentioned how there is plenty of NIL money going around inside michigan's program.. It just isn't open publicly or talked about like a lot of other big schools
