The weather was super awesome considering what’s going to be here tomorrow. The stands were pretty full too. Mostly Vandy people, but a fair amount of Michigan fans as well. The damn whistler made an appearance, but nobody indulged him so it wasn’t terrible. Very cool to get the W even if it doesn’t officially count. Will see them again in Scottsdale in Feb!
Both teams wore jerseys in honor of Negro League teams (Nashville Stars and Detroit Stars) in case you are wondering after watching the highlights.

Awesome. Last year's tourney run was right up there for me with the 2018 Final Four run in terms of improbable fun as a Michigan fan. Let's hope Bakich and the boys can continue this program's trajectory.

My eyes deceived me! Saw a left handed pitcher #47 closing the game with a similar windup to Henry and thought it was he.

It was an exhibition and admission was free. Weather was beautiful. Much better baseball weather than we will see in this area until about June.
My wife and I happened to be in Nashville this weekend and stayed in the same hotel as the team. We didn’t know that until this morning when we rode in the elevator with one of the players. Since we drove, we decided to push back our departure and catch a few innings. We may have been the only Michigan fans there who weren’t players’ family.

I was there and am not family. It was poorly advertised from a Michigan perspective. I just happened to have it on my calendar and remembered to pop over. Sadly, didn't have time to mobilize the local spirit club.
