Way too high on the long-range shot. Might have done better to try a pass or two, though it was defended reasonably well.
WTF how was there not a goal there
...what a sequence. Looks like that apparent goal was disallowed by an offsides call.
The offside rule in soccer is the one thing I hate about the sport. The best linesmen get it right about 2/3 of the time, simply because you have to be watching too many places at once. Worst of all is the "offside trap"; in no other sport can running away from the player rather than trying to prevent him from getting a clean run at goal or prevent the ball from getting to him be considered a legitimate defensive strategy.
...called Findley for offside when he came off the pitch (he was in an offside position) and went to the ball that Dempsey headed in. Dodgy call there.
