USC vs Colorado game

Colorado currently up 17-7 in the second quarter. If USC loses this, they will be staring 6-6 in the face at best. Hello Urban Meyer to USC!

And as I post this USC drives the field and scores a td. Colorado's number 42 drops a sure int and then has a qb fumble that he bats the ball back to a USC player for a recovery.

If USC finishes with ~8 wins they're a likely bowl game opponent for us in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego (we're very likely going there due to contractual obligations if we finish 8-4 or 9-3).

Holiday Bowl takes the 3rd best team in the PAC 12. I'd imagine Oregon and Utah will be 1/2 and then 3 could go to any of USC, Washington, Washington State or Arizona State.

I think I'd maybe prefer WSU or ASU (don't want to play Washington two games in a row, boring), but a win over SC in SoCal is nothing to complain about.

Urban to USC isn’t going to happen. It’s a 2 year hiatus. The wifey isn’t going to let it happen.

We’ll see him back on the sidelines in Columbus in 2021 when Day goes to the league.

Ugh...touchdown USC. 35-31. 2:15 to go, Colorado only has 1 timeout, will get a shot to win with a touchdown.

Trojans got incredibly lucky on that drive; while they were on their own 40 they fumbled and it looked like Colorado would for sure recover but Trojans came up with it in the end. They fumbled and recovered earlier in this quarter too and Colorado also dropped an easy interception.

How the hell did USC come back and win this game?  Helton is their version of Year 2 Brady Hoke - just good enough to not suck, but you know the suck is there.  He has a 9 win season, taking the PAC 12 South into the last weekend, and he keeps his job.  Would be a shocker to dump him, in that case.

USC will win. CU gets one first down, but then can't convert a 4th & 4 from their own 43 yard line (came up 1 yard short).

Buffs really should've had this game. Offense collapsed in the 4th quarter, but Trojans were very lucky on fumbles. Questionable coaching too, they punted on 4th and short within USC's 40 yard line.

Colorado moves to 0-14 all time vs. USC.

USC wins their first game when down by 10 points since the 2017 Rose Bowl comeback against Penn State. Huge game next week in Los Angeles with Oregon coming down to the Coliseum for a matchup between the favorite in the North and the favorite in the South.

I was there. Five rows from USC bench at the 30 yard line, in a UM coat and toboggan. Saw Drevno almost constantly. I got more "Go Blues" than expected. Only two drunk girls (USC fans) gave me crap as I was leaving. Buff fans I sat by called me "Big Michigan" since I am 6'3" and 300lbs. Colorado has never beaten USC like 0-14 I think.

Colorado punted twice within the 40. I guess the coach thought his defense would hold. Nope.

Nice jinxing work there, pal. I suppose for your next act you’re gonna crow about how michigan has the game all sewn up if we have a 3-pt lead in the second quarter.
