USC QB injured in practice

Sanchez went down today, diagnois is a dislocated knee cap. I'm not sure how serious that injury is - but it seems like it is not too serious, Carroll said they were only gonna hold him out until Monday.
Heres to hoping he's back and ready for the OSU game.

I partially dislocated my left kneecap on June 16th which resulted in a partially torn medial retinaculum. (The retinaculum is the tissue that holds the kneecap in place.) Seven weeks later I am just now getting back to walking without any noticeable limp, there's still not much strength in the knee, and I have extremely limited lateral movement. The Doc says I'll be full speed by the first week in September.
Obviously I'm not a Div 1 athlete with all the perks that that includes (though I am devilishly handsome, witty and did I mention modest?) but there's only so much that can be done. I'd think it's a bit more serious than Pete's letting on, and I'd be willing to bet some big money Sanchez isn't 100% for the OSU game.
the insight Dr. Ninja.
Mustain is a great backup to have (5*, plus a year of starting experience in the SEC) but he hasn't played since the 06 season, so I think there is a definite rust factor there.
The only kind of Dr. I am is a "Doctor of LOOOOOOOOVE"! :P They just said on Sportscenter that there was no ligament or tissue damage with Sanchez, so maybe his is less severe than mine.
An MD friend of mine said probably 2-3 weeks, but not by Monday like Pete said.
Apparently there was no ligament or cartilege damage in Sanchez's case, so the injury is not nearly as serious as it could've been.
Still, it'll be interesting to see if he's ready for UOS. His playing time advantage over Mustain is negligible, but his advantage in experience in USC's system over Mustain is vast.
