Money talks. And M brings in more money than anyone else.
Just some simple stats to back up the fact that both the B1G and NCAA very much need Michigan. Our administration shouldn't be a bunch of jerks, but they can definitely flex some muscle when need be. America enjoys watching Michigan play football.

Our administration is not a bunch of jerks. Michigan typically wins something like a third to a fourth of all the conference athletic championships...that will go down with the upcoming additions. Michigan athletics is stellar.
