UM-OSU Grave Walk
Hello All,
Normally the Grave Walk for the tOSU game is performed the Thursday prior to that Saturday. As I am sure everyone is aware that day this year is Thanksgiving, and was wondering if the date may have changed due to that?
Sorry if this was already a topic, however I have not seen anything.
I know it's still some time away, but any clarity on this would be appreciated.

Been wondering the same thing.
I vote for Tuesday night of that week due to Thanksgiving, as I can come to town and then head to the Founder's event at Ashley's that night.

I'm really looking forward to the Founders event at Ashley's. I've had it marked on my calendar since they announced it.

What is this "Grave Walk" you speak of? I am intrigued.

Go to the cemetery at night to visit Bo, Ufer and Yost and sing The Victors.

Two of those three were still alive when I was a student there 30 years ago, so this is one I hadn't heard of. I continue to be impressed with the students at my alma mater. This is very touching.

Better you read this then I try to explain.

I have been wondering this very same thing myself, and have been dancing around making a topic for it. You've done it for me.
If there is any level of democracy in this, I'd like to request either Tuesday night or Friday night. I will be going to the game on Saturday, but would also like to be home for Thanksgiving with my family if possible. If it is still held Thursday, that would force me to finish class Wednesday, go home, spend some time at home Thanksgiving, and then rush back to Ann Arbor for this. If it were Tuesday, that's a regular school night anyway, and if it were Friday, I'd have two days to spend at home and I'd be coming back that night to make the trip Saturday easier anyhow.

Friday since I will not have to work.
Is this even open for a vote?

is a great tradition! Go Blue!

Hadn't heard of it before. Friday would be better on a Thanksgiving weekend

So I'm not sure if we will have a set time. Once the week gets closer and if some board members want to organize a time, I would be more than happy to show people where they are located in the cemetery as I have been to each a few times.

I know the guy that runs it through one of my friends in the Maize Rage, the Superfan. I believe the name of the guy who runs it is Jeff Holzhausen, but I could be off on that spelling. I will try to remember to ask my friend if he knows what Holz's plans are and then relay it to you guys.

We are all in the same boat. We have to have our hypothermia/urine bath, aka Mirror Lake jump on Tuesday instead of Thursday now. I am not the biggest fan of the new schedule, especially because i have to drive back home for Thanksgiving then drive back to tOSU for the game. Is anyone else annoyed with the new schedule?

Hey, Jon, I remember Michigan Week being such a big deal at Ohio State, how have they re-worked the schedule after moving the game a week later? When is Senior Tackle? And on what night will TBDBITL do their High Street march? I hadn't thought about it until now, but, man, moving the game really rearranges a fun week down there.

Well, i asked a roommate that is in TBDBITL, he hasn't heard about the High Street march. Senior Tackle is going to be the same time and Mirror Lake is now Tuesday.

I've never heard of this tradition before, but I would absolutely love it. I want to be there.

Seeings tha we haven't beaten them for awhile...quit bothering them and maybe we will win. Go visit them after a victory! They'd prefer that I bet!

Honoring our past and our traditions with this grave walk is definitely the reason we've lost to OSU so much. Seriously, where have you been since 2003, because we really could have used this advice sooner.
I'll call the guides and have them immediately cease and desist this obviously unlucky event that helps educate people about the legends of Michigan football.
Oh, and in case it wasn't clear:
