As for the  city of Detroit, there's this http://www.amazingbluetaxi.com/flat-rates/michigan-cities/ - their flat rate from downtown Detroit to Ann Arbor is $100, but above their schedule for major Michigan cities. I think that you can get the minivan (if you're going with a group) with a reservation for the same rate.

http://annarbormetroshuttle.com/ - This might be worth checking out if you decide to go to the game straight from Metro. It's pricey but people seem to enjoy this service. I think they also pick up at the nearby hotels as well, or at least, being a Romulus resident, I have seen them apparently do that. A vast majority of the services that I am aware of tend to go between Ann Arbor and Metro sadly,  with a patchwork of taxi companies working beyond this.

As for purpose of the OP and the game being on at 3:30 on BTN, that is a little surprising that this fell to third-tier, but then the remaining TBA games are SEC and Big 12 games, so over at ESPN / ABC, the love affair continues apparently.

lol at this being a love affair with the sec and big 12, state is bad this year, even in a good year nobody outside the state of michigan cares about this game because nobody outside the state of michigan cares about state.  Its all about ratings and this game would get shit ratings nationally.

This year, it likely is a combination of State getting typically inferior ratings to Michigan, their 4-3 record in a conference not being exactly praised in the national media and other items, but the Big Ten typically ranks in the top three in the Nielsen ratings among conferences (2nd last season) for viewership in football (the SEC is first, of course). As we were on ESPN last year and ABC the year before that, it's just interesting that it went from a first-tier pick to third-tier in one year - that probably is an indictment on what sort of ratings they believe this year's game would get. Indeed, if a Big Ten game isn't on BTN as we are, it looks like it might end up on ESPNU this week as things begin to fill in here.

so my brother is hosting a party for this...he don't have cable, how reliable is btn2go?  I'll prolly let him use my btn2go and prolly will have to supply a computer to hook it to the tv.

Well, this sucks.  I'm on an airplane Saturday right in the middle of the game.  No BTN, ergo no DVR.  Any way for me to start a firstrowsports (or other) stream at the beginning when I get home at 5?

Bo would be very upset about all of these 3:30 starts. For the love of God, the game played at Noon will be when they are forced to play at noon. November.

Just kick these assholes up and down the field Saturday and I'll be fine.

I think the important thing to ask is if the game is being broadcast on that Eurostream. BTN announcers make me angar, but that guy is like a whale biologist: he calls 'em like he sees 'em. I'd rather listen to him while watching the game.

We're undefeated thus far in 3.30 games, so there's that.  Seriously though, for more obsessive fans than I - is this the latest we've ever gone in a season with no 12.00 starting games?
