That sure looked like it was knocked out of bounds by Illinois.  Teske didn’t even try to save it; usually that’s a giveaway that he didn’t touch it.

Michigan’s shooting really well, but Illinois’s offensive rebounds are equalizing things right now.  Illinois doesn’t seem to be able to shoot worth a darn.

When Kofi is in, Teske needs to be in there. Kofi will need rest too. 

Illinois can’t shoot. How can they be ahead? Gotta find a way to keep them out of paint. 20 of 22 points in the paint. Just can’t happen. We got too many boys that just are weak inside. 

Get Brooks/Teske back in.

How big of a sample size is required before we can declare we have a “road shooting problem.”  Nobody looks confidant in their shots.  Eventually Z being super clever isn’t enough.

UM must start hitting some 3’s to open the lanes up. IL driving way to easily through the paint. Feed Teske. Need Wagner to heat up. 

Simpson is gonna have to hit some outside shots as this game goes on, they are sagging back into the lane and giving him a lot of space to shoot. To open the offense back up, he and others need to hit some outside shots. Rebounds and on ball defense isnt good either. 

Bielien never recruited any big man that can rebound. Hopefully Howard gets that straighten out in a few years.

One great transition possesison and one horrid one

Illinois guards are athletes and attack the hoop very well...easy to say they need to slow the ball down but not easy to do (we're also trying not to foul)

you have to make those guys go  to their left.  and make them shoot jump shots.  

Our transition defense is dreadful 

Seems like we are sitting our starters a lot in this one. Teske, Simpson, and Brooks.

We take a lot of bad shots. Livers can shoot, but he just can’t create his own. 

I wish Howard would feed Teske in post a bit. Tired of these contested long jumpers. Z needs to be in. Illinois has quick guards, he’s very valuable in a game like this. They look rattled on O with Brooks at point. 

The Jump Ball call with Brandon Johns was BS. That was our ball, damn it.
