U-M Hockey vs tHwND - Friday Open Thread

Notre Dame is in town for a crucial series. While they've dropped to 17th in PWR, they've been a tough regular season visitor in recent years. Score first, score often, and hopefully we start the weekend with 3 pts.

That was everything I hate about Notre Dame hockey and recent Michigan hockey at once.  Terrible call against us for the 3-2 goal (ND interferes that much every shift), lose every battle on the board, inexplicable terrible decisions with the puck in our own end, no flow because of trapping nonsense.

Only thing that was missing was a bullshit major on a review.

If we don't win tonight or back into the #2 seed with an OSU loss, we could end up hosting PSU, FYS or tHwND next weekend.

If tHwND wins tonight (in regulation, OT or shootout) and OSU picks up at least one more point tonight than we do, then we would host PSU if  PSU loses to Bucky in regulation and play FYS if PSU picks up at least one point against Bucky.

If tHwND loses tonight in OT or shootout and OSU wins in regulation at the Scotch tape arena, then we host tHwND.

The other games are complete before we start so we will know what we need to do (if anything) to secure the #2 spot.
