TTB: Summer Camp Participants
Since it's Friday and we're clearly bored (hence the two "It's Friday so what are you doing?" threads), I thought I would inject a little football talk into the board.
Over the past couple weeks, I've tried to keep track of names of kids who are planning to visit Michigan for camp next week. I wrote up some info on the various prospects who have mentioned it, but it's not a comprehensive list, obviously. If you have names to add, let me know. And feel free to discuss, either here or over at TTB. With the 2013 recruiting class nearly completed, most of our interest probably lies in the 2014 kids.
I know the Michigan girl and I'm very tempted to show this to her, justt o see her reaction, but I won't. Too much creep in that.

I like Magnus's comments as well. They are his opinion and he is respectful of that. I dont agree with him all the time, but he does try to back it up. And I will check those dates on his site.
2014 WR Dominique Booth is also supposed to camp at Michigan per a 2 week old article... not sure if that's up to date...

I didn't keep track of the 2011 campers, so I'm not sure...
You probably shouldn't trust me on quarterbacks. I really thought we would/should take one in 2012. I would advise taking two in 2014, a pro-style guy and a dual-threat guy who might be able to change positions... But the coaches obviously don't care what I think.
I know he's very unlikely to ever get significant playing time, but wondered if you thought he'd be able to do a serviceable job as the 3rd stringer coming in for emergency situations.
I haven't watched him play. Sorry.
Don't worry we do not trust your "expertise" on quarterbacks as i recall you stating numerous times that we couldnt win with denard at quarterback...
With Rodriguez's defense? Yeah, you're right. We went 7-6. Not exactly a great winning percentage.
With Hoke/Mattison's defense? That's a different story.
And by the way, Denard completed 55% of his passes and had a 4:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio, so he didn't really light the world on fire through the air... And he's projected as a wide receiver in the NFL. He's a good runner; we all know and knew that. But he's still not a good passer.
Remember there is always that QB from Canada and Jayru Campbell for 2015. I know that its still supper early on those guys but it may be worth looking into stocking up on two 2015 QB's if we can't get two quarterbacks in 2014

Daniel Gresham, 2014 RB, teammate of Knox, no offer
Malcolm Darensbourg, 2014 LA LB/S, possibility but unlikely
