Trey Burke makes Myron Medcalf's "Avengers" Squad
Over at the college basketball watercooler blog on ESPN.com Myron Medcalf named his Avengers team for the 2012-2013 season. Which consists of Nerlens Noel, Cody Zeller, Doug McDermott, Peyton Siva, and Trey Burke. Basically this is a preseason All American team and I thought it was cool to see a Michigan player getting some publicity. When was the last time a Michigan Basketball player was a preseason All-American.
Panic Man
He can induce mass hysteria among huge groups of people simply by thinking... of leaving for the draft.
Interesting that Nerlens Noel gets it without even playing a game.
It always seems like whenever the previous years #1 player has a big year, the following #1 recruit gets some pre-season love. Harrison Barnes rode John Wall's coat-tails in a similar way.
Highly rated freshmen failing to live up to expectations is the exception in NCAA basketball, not the norm.

I wasn't reffering to if they actually succeed, but rather if they get pre-season attention. Harrison Barnes was the first ever pre-season All-American I believe, and it came after John Wall's UK team was full of successful freshman. I'm not stupid, I've watched college basketball the last five years so i understand the impact of freshman thanks...
He probably just thought Nerlens Noel's hair was too awesome to leave him out.
His head looks like an eraser with that hair...
we should all take a moment and count our blessings that he's coming back and automatically makes us one of the favorites to REPEAT as big ten champs
