This is a day to rejoice. Obviously michigan isn't the 4th best defense in the country, but when I see that stat, it makes my nether regions tingle.

Well, it is certainly an improvement over last year. I don't think GMat would give up 21 to Bowling Green or 30+ to UMass.

You can't be at the top in the end if you're not moving up heading into the halfway mark of the season. I know the last three years have been brutal but it's ok to smile on good things. The defense has made major strides and I think they will continue into big ten play.
