TomVH Interview With 2013 DE Matt Miller

Submitted by Happy Gilmore on

The younger brother of OT Jack Miller, Matt plays in Toledo, OH and was video interviewed by TomVH for WolverineNation over at ESPN.

He says that Jack being at UM will "definitely effect" his decision and that a UM offer would "obviously be a big offer for me."

This isn't as cool as his interview/mini workout with Shane Morris, but still is interesting

Is Matt likely to be a UM (Brady Hoke) level recruit? I don't know anything about him. Certainly, I'd think that a UM offer would interest him, both for his brother and for the hype that it looks like we are about to generate . . .

I will respond with reports of what I have heard. He was bigger and stronger that jack when they were playing on the same line last year so I would have to imagine his ceiling is higher than jacks and hoke gladly accepted jacks commitment. I would like to think this guy will be apart of this class unless he

It's too early to tell.  Unless a kid is like Chris Wormley, it's very tough to tell much about linemen, offensive or defensive, before they've played their junior seasons.  He's still young and likely a lot smaller than he will be in college.

That said, he's got good size (already 6'5" 250lb) so we'll see what happens a year from now.  How well he does this season and at camps next summer will be key to his recruitment.

It was driving me crazy yesterday on the liveblog when Tom's tweets were showing up with links about recruits that required access behind a paywall. We should really stop having his tweets automatically go through the liveblog.
