I was out all day, so my apologies if you've addressed this, but have you heard anything recently from your sources about "the otter"? Last I saw your last take on the situation was back when everyone was scrambling after he "eliminated" Michigan? Do you have an updated take on him? (Sorry again if I'm asking you to repeat yourself)

There was an article on Rivals today that quotes him saying that he is considering MI amongst the other schools. This interview occurred after the elimination comment. He said he still does not know whom he will choose. Looks official- MI is STILL in the running! Sorry just realized that the question was addressed to Tom...

From what I've heard, I think he was playing around. I talked to a couple people there, and they said the same. Jeremy Gallon told me they'v been hanging out, and his comment never came up. They were joking around, but they also talked about Michigan, not sure exactly what. I also watched the Army Live feed yesterday, and Anthony LaLota and Will were hanging out a lot together, FWIW. Anthony has also been talkin to him about coming to Michigan. So, like I said, I think he was playing around, mad at the media for outing him in the directory, but I'm still nervous. Anything can happen. Ricardo is there today, and he told me he's going to talk to him as well, if he sees him. I'll let you know if I hear more. I'm talking to Ricardo right now.

Is it just me or does it seem that UM verbals don't seem to do much recruiting for other players like what we see from other schools, such as the Sucknuts or U of Spoiled Children?

I just talked to Ricardo Miller again. He's all checked in, they weighed him in at 208 pounds. There's not a lot to do today, just an orientation. There's been a lot of interviews so far, he said that a lot of the media has already started asking him why he chose Michigan (not in a curious good way). After I spoke with him I saw GBW has said the same thing about neg. recruiting. It seems to be a theme with our kids this week. Will Campbell, Anthony LaLota, and Jeremy Gallon as well. This irritates me beyond belief. Ricardo said he's going to ask the next reporter that has something negative to say if he asks every kid here why they chose their school. There's always going to be negative recruiting, but the amount that it's been happening lately is ridiculous. People saying we're not going to get better, Rich Rod is gone soon, it's bush league if you ask me.
