Per Tom Brady: Still Going Through the Process
During an interview on "The Lets Go" podcast.
"There’s always a good line that I’m responsible for what I say and do and not responsible for what others say and do. Again, one thing I learned about sports is you can control what you can control, and what you can’t, you leave to others,"
"We’re in such an era (of) information, and people want to be in front of the news often, and I totally understand that and understand that’s the environment we’re in. But I think for me, it’s just literally day-to-day with me. I’m just trying to do the best I can every day and evaluate things as they come and try to make a great decision for me and my family."

I know. Tom is just waiting for John to leave, so he can retire and take over as head coach of Michigan! It’s all so clear now.

The GOAT - no one else even close. At 44 to even have this decision is mind blowing. No doubt he can continue to perform at a high level and move the bar even higher - but even as it stands today, it will be decades - if ever - that someone matches what he has done.

The process includes evaluating how his body felt at the end of the season 10, 5, and 2 years ago. Thinking about what it might feel like next year while he’s sore from the past season.
Me - I would take the accolades and retire. But almost every star athlete in every sport plays longer than they should.

Seems legit, but I'll wait until I hear it from random Twitter poster before I make up my mind on what Tom Brady will actually do.
