Toledo

So Toledo lost 54-55 to Fresno the other day.  Now I know that Wisco Fresno had a defensive battle, so I'm wondering if anyone watched last night's game.  Did Toledo look good/Fresno look bad?

i wanted the end of the game, fresno looked like that could move the ball whenever they wanted. also toledo was down by 10 late in the game, and made a few big plays that got them back into the game. in my opinion it was just fresno not playing well.

i live in toledo and hav followed them through the years and they generally always hav a good offense especially at home and have a knack for playing ranked opponents tough at home. a couple years back when larry fitzgareld played for pitt they came to toledo ranked #9 and lost in a shootout

i was there in the student section and it was a little of both.  toledo was running all over fresno(a good sign) and toledo threw a lot of little wr screens like we do to odoms.  The screens were either a little gain 3-4 yards or a big play.  Fresno scored on good field position the first two times and didnt seem to play well on offense.  They fumbled a few times that Toledo did not recover. It was also Toledo's first home game and everyone was psyched until halftime when its tradition to leave and get drunk.  The coolest thing that happened was there was a huge fight in the student section and some kid got arrested but it took the cops about five minutes to restrain him.

P.J Hill does not scare me and I believe they only have a tight end not any wide recievers that scare me.  Wisconsin has always been a pound it type of team and I think our defense is definatly able to stop that.

The defense didn't stop them last year.  They were terrible.  That could have been because they didn't care if they won the game though.  The team went into the game knowing that it had absolutely no consequence if they won or lost, and they played like it.

I'm still worried about this game.  Our defense hasn't been nearly as great as it was supposed to be.  The three power running teams that we faced at the end of the year last year (MSU, Wisky, OSU) raped the shit out of our run defense.

I also don't put a lot of stock in comparative scores - they are almost never predictive of anything.

Also, can we try to type decently? Is it that much harder to type "have" instead of "hav"? Or "anyone" instead of "neone"? Or to capitalize? It makes things so much harder to read, and make the reader think that if you couldn't spend the time to write legibly, why should we spend the time to try to decipher what the fuck you're saying?

Just like Miami(OH) is horrible? They played us pretty tight.  Toledo can't play good on the road, so we will be fine. But I think we have learned our lesson about under-estimating teams, haven't we?
