Seems like he doesn't always have one after The Game.
Though he did write this.
Edit: nevermind, locked behind a paywall.

Someone asked this in one of the other threads. In the past there wasn’t one after the last regular season game but Michigan never won those games. I think the intention of the column is to give Ohio St fans a look into what Michigan is doing without watching the games.

Yeah I think it’s similar in purpose to our Opponent Watch, except theirs is focused solely on Michigan.

What about Threat Level, Michigan? I think it was only elevated last week. Wonder if they'll bump up to severe this week. They did get nearly 500 tards of total offense...

Threat Level was High (Severe being the only thing higher).
Though very few comments gave Michigan a chance of even being close in the game.

Man F*$K those dudes, they were using all kinds of excuses on their Youtube channel this weekend.

I think Tony Gerdeman is on BuckeyeScoop now, which I think is a paysite, so if there is one, we may not get more than a snippet of it. That said, he would only occasionally write one after The Game in the past, but of course, he didn't do so under these particular circumstances, so who really knows?

Tony posts it every week, an youtube version too which is excellent, I have been watching his coverage all season, I like Tony though Tom gets a bit smug at times, I'm sure he'll have some version up on Buckeyescoop youtube channel.

I also watched Gerdeman and Tom Orr all year on their youtube channel, these guys are excellent and put out premium content. Highly recommend.

Only if Hassan allows it.

The best environment n college football AND the ratings show that more people saw us beat down OSU than saw any other game this year. Doesn't get better than this.

On their (BuckeyeScoop) site they did a pretty good (though Buckeye-centric) view of the game on video. They basically admit they got their asses kicked on both sides of the line and their defense needs a change of coaches. They look at this year as a wasted opportunity to grab a National Championship in a year with a weaker than normal field.
Most of the Buckeye pundits don't have much respect for McNamara's talents, and figure if they can just fix their defense and get tougher in the trenches, they should be on top again.

Day is going to have to clear house of the defensive staff or underwhelming performances will continue to be the norm. It seems obvious they need a culture change on that side of the ball, too. Guys just seem to expect that they'll perform better than their opponent because of their superior 247 ranking. Very little physicality, especially in the linebacker level.

Is it just me, or did those Michigan Mondays seem less complimentary as the season wore on? At the start they seemed pretty positive and complimentary of how Michigan was playing, and then as things continued to progress and Michigan continued to win, the tone seemed to evolve more into an indifferent “whatever, we’re still going to kick their ass anyway” kind of tone. Like he was annoyed that the other shoe hadn’t dropped yet like it always had.

Yes, and this is why I pretty much ignore anything from any OSU "journalist." It's all fake.
On that note, I'm glad that Brian finally called out that fraud Ramzy from 11W. His defense of Meyer was pathetic and while I don't know the specific backstory Brian is referring to in his tweet, I'm glad that he made his feelings crystal clear.

Thats the same progression I remember Herbstreit going thru in 2016 and 2018: complimentary until until his rooting instincts take over. I dont know how Herb handled things this year.

They did this after the game. Full of excuses and anedotes. They didn't give Michigan any credit. OSU, played as bad as they could, and Michigan played as well as they possibly could. Fuck these guys.
November 29th, 2021 at 10:22 AM ^
I took it differently. I wouldn't really expect an opponent's media sites to give much more than grudging respect for any opponent - especially Michigan. I think they made it pretty clear they thought Michigan deserved to win that game.
And it was a great relief to see Michigan playing their best game for Ohio State, rather than one of their worst for the first time in a long while; and Ohio State did not look nearly as dominant as it has the last few weeks in various aspects. Yes, Michigan had a lot to do with it. The better team on the field beat the better team on paper.
They are still hurting and trying to process it all intellectually and emotionally, which is pretty understandable.

They said they were going to hire Mike MacDonald as DC. lol
I think that's a compliment.
Good luck with that. If you can't beat 'em, steal 'em. Give the man a raise and build a wall around him.
They lose one game and they're in panic mode. "Fire Larry Johnson?"
Even though there is faint Michigan praise there is palatable fear!

No but there will be an OSU UFR!!! Seth mentioned on the podcast he’s already working on it

I like Tony, but it's hilarious how this board breathlessly awaits his posts. If anyone sees it? Is it hard to find?

There will be 52 of them until we ring up 52 more in Columbus next November.
